Apple Pie Truffles

Golden Oreos combined with apple pie spice covered in a mouthwatering white chocolate coating. These delicious truffles are perfect this time of year and the flavor is so comforting!

Apple Pie Truffles taste like apple pie and are the perfect addition to any fall or holiday gathering! These things are so delicious!

Ingredients:

  1. Golden Oreo cookies
  2. Apple pie filling
  3. Cream cheese
  4. White melting chocolate (like CandiQuik)
  5. Vegetable oil
  6. Apple pie spice
  7. Crushed walnuts or pecans
  8. Parchment paper
Ingredients

Instructions:

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. Add the golden Oreos to a food processor and pulse until the Oreos are crumb-like. Add the Oreo crumbs, softened cream cheese, and pie filling to a large mixing bowl and mix with a spatula or electric mixer until fully combined.

Truffles dough

Roll 1 tablespoon scoops of the Oreo mixture into balls and set on your parchment paper. Place rolled truffle balls into the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.

Truffles with white chocolate chips

Once the truffle balls have finished chilling, prepare your white candy coating by melting the white chocolate and vegetable oil in the microwave for 30-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. Mix the apple pie spice into the melted chocolate.

Using a fork, dip truffles into the white chocolate mixture and shake off any excess chocolate on the side of the bowl before transferring back to your baking sheet.

Sprinkle the tops of the dipped truffles with the crushed nuts and return the truffles to the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until fully set. Keep truffles refrigerated until ready to serve.

Storage

Store the truffles in the refrigerator, in a sealed bag or container, for up to 2 weeks.

  • 36 golden Oreo cookies, crumbled
  • ½ cup prepared apple pie filling
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 16 ounces white melting chocolate, like CandiQuik, found near the chocolate chips in the baking aisle
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
  • ¼ cup crushed walnuts or pecans

  1. What about the middle of the Oreo? The white cookie filling, do you remove that or does that stay and go in the food processor too?

    I must say these do look incredible but the direction could be a little more specific.

  2. Did you use the food processor on the apple pie filling before using it to chop up the apple pieces? And if so, did you measure the 1/2 cup before or after chopping it up?
