Crescent Roll Chocolate Croissants are delicious and cost much less than a bakery!

These chocolate crescents are filled with rich chocolate, topped with more chocolate, and take only 25 minutes from start to finish. Begin by placing 2 crescent rolls, connected in the shape of a rectangle, onto a parchment-lined baking sheet

Crescent Rolls

Place chocolate pieces along one side of the crescent rolls. The smaller the chocolate pieces, the easier the chocolate will melt. You can also use chocolate chips, Hershey’s kisses, or any chocolate you prefer.

Chocolate inside crescent rolls

Instructions:

Roll the dough up 1/2 way. At this point, add another layer of chocolate pieces, and then continue to roll the dough until everything is all wrapped up. Having 2 layers of chocolate helps with the chocolate-to-crescent ratio.

Rolled Crescents with Chocolate Inside

Put the Crescent Roll Chocolate Croissants seam-side down on the baking sheet. Bake them for about 12 minutes. Naturally, crescent rolls burn easily, so it is best to keep your eye on them, undercook them just a tad, and remove them from the oven so they can continue to bake on the sheet as they are also cooling.

Melt the remaining chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and drizzle the chocolate over the chocolate croissants. If you don’t have extra chocolate chunks, you can also melt some chocolate frosting.

Storage

Store the leftover chocolate croissants in a sealed plastic bag or container at room temperature. You can microwave the leftovers to make the chocolate melt again! These can also be frozen and thawed when ready to enjoy.
