Ingredients:

  1. Frozen tater tots – cooked
  2. Ground beef – cooked
  3. American cheese slices
  4. Hamburger sauce – also known as “secret sauce.” It can be found in the ketchup aisle. Hidden Valley, Great Value, and even Chik Fil A have versions of it!
  5. Sliced pickles
  6. Shredded lettuce
Ingredients

Instructions:

Spread your tater tots evenly over a 9×13-inch baking sheet. Top your tater tots with ground beef and American cheese slices.

It is important to cook your tots before throwing your totchos in the oven. You want them to be nice and crispy when they go into the oven since they will only be in there for about 5 minutes. Feel free to cook your tots in the oven or in an air fryer.

Layer ground beef over cheese and tater tots

Broil your totchos on high for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

You can use any kind of ground beef for this recipe. We usually use a 93/7 just so we don’t have to worry about draining any grease from the beef, but feel free to use whatever you normally use.

Layer ground beef over cheese and tater tots

Remove your totchos from the oven and top them with sauce, pickles, and lettuce.

Recipe Tip

Other toppings you can add to these totchos include diced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and diced red onions. Anything you like on a burger!

Cheeseburger Totchos

If you have any leftovers, they can be kept in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge. Reheat a plate of your cheeseburger totchos in the microwave for 45 seconds.
