Ingredients:
- Pork shoulder or butt
- Dr. Pepper
- Lipton Onion Dip mix

- Maple syrup

Place the pork into the slow cooker. Cover with dry seasoning followed by Dr. Pepper. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours until fork tender. Crock pot recipes are so convenient for cooking protein at a cooking time that works best for your schedule.

This Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork is slow-cooked in your crock pot until it is extra tender and falls apart. Once the pulled pork is very tender, it will be very easy to shred with two forks.

How to Make Au Jus
To make the au jus, remove 3 cups of liquid from the crock pot to a small saucepan with brown sugar and maple syrup. Whisk and stir over the stovetop while over high heat and reduce by about half. Pour, drizzle, or dip sandwiches in this tasty juice! It’s addicting… just to warn you:)

Dr Pepper pulled pork needs just a few simple ingredients to create a dish that is so juicy and delicious. The shredded pork is absolutely delicious made into pork sandwiches or sliders with cheese and barbecue sauce.

We like to top our sliders with cheese, and sauces. But, does this pulled pork have to be used on sandwiches? Absolutely not! It’s SO DELICIOUS for pulled pork tacos, salads, taco bowl, or however else you enjoy pork (alongside baked potatoes, perhaps?).
