Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

Here’s one of the very best smoothie recipes ever, the perfect raspberry smoothie! We make a ton of smoothies at our house. In fact, half the freezer is filled with bags of frozen fruit just for smoothies. This beautiful puree has it all: the best sweet-tart flavor, creamy texture, and beautiful pink color.

Raspberry Smoothie Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Frozen raspberries
  • Dry oats (rolled or quick oats work)
  • Milk
  • Plain yogurt
  • Vanilla extract
  • Optional* Fresh raspberries, for garnish
  • Optional* 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or sugar)
Raspberry Smoothie Ingredients

Many smoothie chains put ingredients in their smoothies that are not at all healthy!  Some popular chains use things like sherbert and sugar water in their “smoothies”. This makes them sweet, but not at all healthy for you! That’s why I prefer to make my own smoothies with nutritious and easy-to-find ingredients. It’s wonderful for a fast breakfast, afternoon snack, or healthy dessert.

Blended Raspberry Smoothie

Any milk can be used, whole milk will make for a creamier smoothie. Vegan milk works well too. Some people love a thick smoothie while others prefer a thinner texture. For a thinner smoothie, add a few extra tablespoons of milk until you reach your desired consistency. You just dump everything, blend, and go! Using frozen raspberries helps create a thick and creamy consistency.

The BEST Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

You know it’s gotta be good when it’s almost too pretty to drink! To mix things up, you can use this same smoothie base and swap out the frozen raspberries for frozen blueberries or strawberries or a variety of berries for a different experience.
