Who wouldn’t love a jello shot that tastes like apple pie? How fun! Apple cider is the drink of the fall, but Fireball is a whisky with a cinnamon flavor that adds a special punch to this recipe! This is a fun dessert or party treat (for people 21 and over).

Ingredients:

  1. Packets of unflavored gelatine
  2. Apple cider
  3. Fireball whisky
  4. Jello shot cups with lids
  5. Whipped cream
  6. Ground cinnamon
  7. Apple slices or cinnamon sticks, for garnish

Instructions:

In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the apple cider to a boil.

Instructions

Turn off the heat and add the unflavored gelatin envelopes to the apple cider, whisking until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool for 15-20 minutes.

Stir the Fireball whisky into the apple cider mixture. Pour the apple pie mixture into your plastic shot cups, almost all the way full.

Transfer the shot cups to the refrigerator and allow them to chill for 3-5 hours, or until fully set. When ready to serve, top the shots with whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and garnish with apple slices or cinnamon sticks.

  • 1½ cups Fireball (cinnamon flavored whisky)

  • Turn off the heat and add the unflavored gelatine to the apple cider, whisking until fully dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool for 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir the Fireball whisky into the apple cider mixture.
  • Pour the apple pie mixture into your shot cups, almost all the way full.
  • Transfer the shot cups to the refrigerator and allow them to chill for 3-5 hours, or until fully set.

Notes

Store leftovers with the lids on in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Non-alcoholic options: substitute the alcohol with water or apple juice.
If making the night before, cover the shot cups with lids or plastic wrap to keep fresh.
