Sugar Cookie martini for the holidays

Ingredients:

  • Half and Half – heavy cream can be substituted with whole milk, almond milk, dairy-free milk, or even coffee creamer
  • Baileys Irish Cream
  • Whipped flavored vodka
  • Amaretto
  • Ice
  • Sprinkles
  • Vanilla frosting – can be substituted with vanilla vodka
  • Maraschino cherries (optional)
  • Whipped Topping (optional)
Ingredients

Instructions:

On a small plate, measure the size of the rim of your martini glass. Make a circle slightly larger than the size of the rim with vanilla frosting.

Frosting on the rim of a cocktail glass

Dip the rim into the frosting, lightly pressing until evenly coated. The frosting provides a sticky base for sprinkles to adhere to. Plus, it’s so tasty!

Frosting Tip

When frosting the rim, work the edges of the glass around in the vanilla frosting in a light circular motion to avoid glass suctioning to the plate. Do not press down all at once.

Adding sprinkles to the rim of a cup

Add a layer of sprinkles to another plate. Dip the iced rim of the glass into the sprinkles, creating an even layer, and set aside.

Sugar Cookie Martini Recipe:

Fill a martini shaker half full with ice. Add Irish cream, whipped vodka, half and half, and amaretto to the shaker. Shake continuously for 15 seconds, or until lightly frothy.

Adding alcohol to a martini shaker

No Cocktail Shaker? No Problem!

Any container with a lid will work! A mason jar or even a water bottle are simple alternatives. However, this drink can be served over the ice cubes and stirred, if desired.

Pouring cocktail in martini glass

Pour the cocktail into the rimmed glass. Garnish with whipped topping and ½ a maraschino cherry (optional).
