Prepare an 8 x 10 casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet on medium heat. Drain the grease and return the pan to the stove to simmer over low heat.
Add a jar of spaghetti sauce to the pan. Add about 1/2 cup cold water to the empty jar and swirl around to loosen any sauce still in the jar and pour it all into the pan as well.
Remove the meat sauce from the heat.
Pour 1/3 of the meat sauce into the bottom of the dish.
Top it with 3 uncooked noodles.
Sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the noodles.
Repeat with another layer of meat sauce, noodles, and cheese.
Pour the remaining meat sauce on top and sprinkle on the last of the mozarella cheese.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from heat and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the layers to firm up. Letting the lasagna sit a little before cutting it allows the layers to set up before serving.
