Au Gratin Potatoes
Tender potato slices smothered in an addicting cheesy sauce. Au gratin is the ultimate comfort food.

9x13 Casserole dish
- 3 pounds red potatoes
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 10.75 ounce can cream of mushroomÂ
- 12 ounces evaporated milk
- 16 ounces Velveeta cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375F
Clean and dry potatoes
Thinly slice (using a mandalin is optional) into 1/8 inch thick slices
In a bowl combine all ingredients except for the cheese
Get all potato slices nicely coated
Transfer to a 9x13 casserole dish
Bake for 45 minutes
Top with cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving
