Prep Time 15 minutes mins
Cook Time 5 minutes mins
Total Time 20 minutes mins
- 16 oz package refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1½ cup Powdered Sugar
- ¼ cup Whole Milk, may add or subtract for desired glaze consistency
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Zest (divided)
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Cut a 1-inch circle in the center of each uncooked biscuit. Using an icing tip or bottle top is a quick easy way to accomplish this.
Spray your air fryer bottom with non-stick cooking spray.
Place your biscuits in the air fryer about 1 inch apart to avoid sticking together
Air fry your biscuits at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until baked throughout.
For the glaze, in a small bowl whisk together powdered sugar, milk, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon lemon zest until desired consistency. You may need to add more or less milk to reach your preferred glaze consistency.
Dip donuts top side down into your bowl of glaze and then pick straight up and flip it over glazed side up.
Sprinkle the Remaining lemon Zest (1 tablespoon) over the glazed donuts
Serve Warm or cooled
These donuts taste best when fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days.
