- 2 lbs pork shoulder or pork butt
- 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand or homemade
- 1 small onion sliced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
Prepare the Crock Pot: Lightly spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or line it with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
Layer the Ingredients: Place the sliced onion on the bottom of the Crock Pot. Set the pork shoulder (or pork butt) on top.
Add Flavor: Sprinkle the brown sugar over the pork, then pour in the chicken broth and BBQ sauce.
