I am making these for the first time today. I need to double the recipe for a birthday. Have you had any trouble doing this? There’s quite a bit of corn syrup for two recipes. Any suggestions.

also am I reading correctly that we are cooking these twice as long as the package says? 25 min first time around then 25 min once we out the topping on?
